Our 2019 season is off to a great start! Now is my favorite time of year. The coho salmon are starting to show up along with the king salmon. There are great numbers of steelhead along with the ever present lake trout. There are plenty of fish around to keep us busy. We have been using many different tactics to keep filling the coolers as each species requires a different approach. The coho and steelhead have been caught on standard coho rigs run in the top 20 feet of water. The steelhead have been munching small spoons all over the water column. We’ve been having success with the king salmon running flashers and flies deep. Of course the lake trout been loving us bouncing the bottom with dodgers and spin n glos.
