It was a great week at All Anglers Charter Service. It was a week of mixed bag catches with coho salmon, king salmon, rainbow trout and lake trout all willing to play. The brown trout remained allusive as is the norm for this time of year. The quality fishing was found well offshore which is easily accessible in our 30ft Tiara. We were fishing anywhere from 10-18 miles offshore to find the hungry fish. The colder water was key to finding active fish. We found that cold water starting about 70 feet down in the water column so downriggers, mag dipsies and long coppers (300-400) were the most productive presentations coupled with flasher/flies, plugs and spoons.

It’s almost the time of year where the mature king salmon begin to stage just outside the harbor. You do not want to miss your chance to battle these arm busting giants. This is your chance to catch the fish of a lifetime. There was recently a Lake Michigan Record king salmon caught that weighed a whopping 47lbs! So there are true giants swimming these waters!

We hope to hear from you soon!

Tight Lines,
Capt Tim
